Girnar

Mount Girnar is a major igneous plutonic complex which intruded into the basalts towards the close of the Deccan Trap period. The rock types identified in this complex are gabbros (tholeiitic and alkalic), diorites, lamprophyres, alkali-syenites and rhyolites. The parent gabbroic magma is shown to have given rise in sequence to diorites, lamprophyres and alkali-syenites. 

Uparkot Fort

The open gypsies are locally available from the Parking area near Booking and Reception Center, Indreshwar Thana, Junagadh. The Safari Permit Charges for up to 6 persons are 800 INR for Indians and 5600 INR for foreigners during Monday to Friday and 1000 INR for Indians and 7000 INR for foreigners during Saturday, Sunday and festival days. 

Shivratri Mela

Bhavnath fair is dedicated to Lord Shiva and a lot of celebrations happens in the Shiva temples. Sardar Buag Mussium

Built in a beautiful old palace of Junagarh, the Darbar Hall Museum is amongst the finest museums in Gujarat as it preserves the treasures of the Junagarh rulers. Darbar Hall was the court for the erstwhile Nawabs of Junagadh and was later converted into a museum to preserve the possessions of Junagarh Maharajas. The splendid repository includes the 19th-century possession of the Nawabs that were found here years ago.
